The construction site can be a very dangerous environment. An operatives’ experience and intuition are valuable skills for spotting danger and preventing accidents, which can be lacking in a young person. A supervising adult is responsible for constantly monitoring and guiding the young person to ensure their safety and the safety of others working on site. The Supervising Adult and Young Person must read and action the control measures detailed in Titan’s ‘Young Person Risk Assessment’, however, further control measure may need to be considered to adapt as necessary to the task being carried out, the site conditions or environmental factors. .
